It's Quentin (AKA Q) who'll take Pipo's place. Q is the man who recorded and mixed our EP "kamikaze" and we're glad to welcome him on board. Our first show with Quentin will be a festival in Reims (March 10th). We also have got a nice review on the webzine Shoot Me Again (you can read it here). There's also a live report on the same website. Thanks to Ba who wrote them.

our bass player Pipo is officially leaving the band. He will play his last show with Sliver in Arlon on January 27th. No hard feelings, Pipo's just fed up with playing, that's all (it's been 8 years already). We kiss him, love him and will miss him a lot. Bye Pipo.

December 2006
a new gig in the LIVE section, it's gonna happen in Arlon, Belgium, homecountry of our drummer Anthony and it's gonna be with a lot of punk bands and Eternal Tango (whose singer was the singer of our drummer's former band Pure Face).

27th October: live with Feverish @ Garche/Thionville (FR) - also with Stentor, our friends Ky-Lin and Shel. Official date for the EP release: 25th October.

New shows added, and we're playing with Feverish in October.
I've also been working on some webpages called "the handbook for revolutionaries": it's a fanzine that the members of REFUSED wrote before the "Flames of Discontent" tour. And I got Dennis Lyxzén's approval who told me I could put it on the internet, so enjoy this kind-of lost piece of writing
And, guess what? Our EP will be finished soon...

The baby break's over. Back to our rehearsal place (a new one actually). Still there won't be any shows until September 'cause we want to end the new EP before coming back to the stage. The record will be out soon (it must be the third time I write this down....)

June 2006
Sliver is now entering "the baby break": meaning until July we're having a break because our drummer Anthony (and his future wife Sandy) are taking care of their first baby. The baby's named ALEXIS and he was born on June the 7th.
This is why there are no dates in the live section. But we'll be hitting the road again as soon as September.
On the other hand, we are still working on the EP (mix, layout, etc...) and it should be released soon.

May 2006
The recording is now finished and Q is busy mixing the 7 seven songs we finally recorded: The Edge of The Wolrd; Kyoseichu; Kamikaze; Living Dead Rubber Doll; General Programming; Thursday; Needles and Retinas. The record should be complete in a couple of months.
We also did our very 1st gig as a four piece on the 12th at the Squaw Bar with our friends Ky-Lin and everything went well.

April 2006
Sliver are busy recording their new EP: "kamikaze" with their friend Q. The record is due to be realeased before July if everything goes well.

March 2006
Sliver are not dead. Still, we are a four piece band now. Our guitarist and long time friend Nico decided to leave the band last week. We wish him all the best.

After 6 months of rehearsals at Ky-lin's place, we finally got our own place. This means more rehearsals ahead and more new songs to come. Also check the LIVE section: we have a gig with DeathBeforeDisco coming on.
